GREENSBORO, N.C. – Miami’s Charles Michel was named the Atlantic Coast Conference Men's Cross Country Performer of the Week, and Boston College’s Elizabeth Hynes earned the league’s Women's Performer of the Week honors.

Michel led the Hurricanes to a 10th-place finish in this past weekend’s 25-team Walt Disney Cross Country Classic in Lake Buena Vista, Fla. For the fourth time this season, the Woodinville, Wash., senior led all Miami runners with an 18th-place finish out of 205 competitors. Michel finished the 8K course in 26:58.

Led by Hynes, Boston College turned in a second-place team finish with 170 points at the 49-team New England Championships held Saturday at Franklin Park in Boston, Mass. Hynes, a freshman out of Saint Charles, Ill., finished ninth overall finishing the 5K course in 18:16.
