Fout, Hammond and Winslow Earn ACC Cross Country Performers of the Week Honors

GREENSBORO, N.C. - Florida State's Mike Fout and Virginia Tech's Michael Hammond were named Co-ACC Men's Cross Country Performers of the Week while the Seminoles' Amanda Winslow was selected as the ACC Women's Cross Country Performer of the Week.
Fout led the 10th-ranked Seminoles to a second-place team finish in a 26-team Notre Dame Invitational field that included seven nationally-ranked teams. The La Porte, Ind., senior finished the five-mile race third individually with a time of 24:01.
Hammond led the Hokies to the team title at the 34-team Charlotte Invitational Saturday. The Midlothian, Va., junior finished fourth overall in a field of 260 runners, completing the 8k course in 24:28.0.
Winslow led the seventh-ranked Seminoles to the team championship in Saturday's Notre Dame Invitational. The Lawrenceville, Ga., junior finished the 5k course in a time of 17:06 leading a dominating charge as Florida State placed all five runners in the top 18.
