GREENSBORO, N.C. - NC State's Wesley Smith was tabbed as the Atlantic Coast Conference Men's Cross Country Performer of the Week while Florida State's Susan Kuijken and Virginia's Emily Harrison share this week's Women's Performer of the Week honors.

Smith led the Wolfpack to a second-place team finish among 23 teams in this past Friday's Notre Dame Invitational in South Bend, Ind. The Hudson, Ohio, senior placed eight overall and was the top ACC runner finishing the 8K race with a time of 24:08. In leading five Wolfpack runners in the top 35, Smith also posted the conference's top 8K time of the season.

Kuijken posted a personal-best 5K time of 16:32 to capture individual honors in this past Friday's Notre Dame Invitational in South Bend, Ind. In earning her second win of the season, the Nijmegan, Netherlands. sophomore won the event by 11 seconds and bested her previous 5K time by 20 seconds as the Seminoles finished third among 21 teams. Harrison won her second meet of the 2007 season, claiming individual honors in Saturday's Roy Griak Invitational in Minneapolis, Minn., The Woodbridge, Va., senior finished 18 seconds ahead of her nearest competitor as the Cavaliers finished sixth place in a 27-team field.
