GREENSBORO, N.C. - Duke sophomore Sheela Agrawal and NC State sophomore David Patterson have earned the ACC Cross Country Performer of the Week honors after posting strong finishes at the Great American Cross Country Festival at McAlpine Park in Charlotte, N.C., on Saturday, Sept. 23.

Agrawal, a sophomore from Swansea, Mass., placed third in the women's 5K race with a time of 16:58.8. She led all ACC runners and finished only 3.1 seconds behind the leader. Agrawal led the Blue Devil women to a fifth-place finish out of 22 competing teams.

Patterson, a Cary, N.C., native, finished fifth in the men's 8K race with a time of 24:23.7. Patterson was the top finisher among ACC runners as he led the Wolfpack men's team to a second place finish with 48 points. Patterson also won the Performer of the Week honor last week.
