GREENSBORO, N.C. - Virginia's Andy Biladeau and Emily Harrison were named Atlantic Coast Conference Cross Country Performers of the Week following outstanding individual performances this past weekend.

Biladeau captured individual honors in the Cavaliers' opening meet of the season. The Tampa, Fla., junior turned in an event-best time of 24:58.8 in the 8K race at the Lou Onesty Invitational. In earning ACC Performer of the Week for the first time in his career, Biladeau finished more than 11 seconds ahead of the nearest competitor and 27 seconds faster than the next conference athlete. With her first place finish, Harrison led four teammates in the top 10 as the Cavaliers opened the 2007 season capturing the team title at the Lou Onesty Invitational in Charlottesville. The Woodbridge, Va., senior finished the 5K race with a time of 17:16.5 - 50 seconds better than the second place finisher.
