Four Seminoles Named To All-ACC Academic Cross Country Teams
March 30, 2007 Tallahassee, FL - The Atlantic Coast Conference released the 2006 All-ACC Academic Men's and Women's Cross Country Teams on Thursday, March 29. Two Seminoles from both squads were honored this year. To be eligible for consideration, a student-athlete must have earned a 3.00 grade point average for the previous semester and maintained a 3.00 cumulative average during his or her academic career. Junior Amy Huss (Wyomissing, PA/Vanderbilt) and senior Abi Wilshire (Bristol, England/Birmingham) represented for the women. This is the second consecutive year that Wilshire, a sport management major, was named to the All-ACC Academic team and the first for Huss who is majoring in economics. The men's squad had two seniors named to the All-ACC Academic team, Tom Lancashire (Bolton, England/Turton) and Andrew Lemoncello (St. Andrew's, Scotland/Stirling). Lancashire will graduate with a degree in exercise science while Lemoncello will earn a sport management degree. Both men were named to the team in 2005 as well.
