GREENSBORO, N.C. - Headed by NC State's Bobby Mack, five All-Conference honorees secured spots on the 2008 All-Atlantic Coast Conference Academic Men's Cross Country Team as announced today by Commissioner John D. Swofford.

To be eligible for consideration, a student-athlete must have earned a 3.00 grade point average for the previous semester and maintained a 3.00 cumulative average during his academic career.

The 2008 ACC Scholar Athlete of the Year for Men's Cross Country, Mack, a graduate degree student in Curriculum & Instruction/Social Studies Education, finished fourth in the ACC Championship this past fall, completing the 8K course in 24:30.9 and leading the Wolfpack to a second-place team finish.
