2007 All-ACC Academic Women's Cross Country Announced
Feb. 15, 2008 GREENSBORO, N.C. - Five All-Conference honorees including three All-Americans secured spots on the 2007 All-Atlantic Coast Conference Academic Women's Cross Country Team as announced today by Commissioner John D. Swofford. To be eligible for consideration, a student-athlete must have earned a 3.00 grade point average for the previous semester and maintained a 3.00 cumulative average during her academic career. Players earning All-ACC honors this past fall were Boston College's Mallory Champa, Duke's Maddie McKeever, Florida State's Susan Kuijken, NC State's Brittany Tinsley and Virginia Tech's Tasmin Fanning. In addition, Kuijken, the 2007 ACC Individual Champion, McKeever and Tasmin Fanning earned All-America recognition. Repeaters from last year's academic team include Boston College's Champa and Nichole Lister, Duke's McKeever, NC State's Tinsley and Virginia Tech's Tasmin Fanning.
