GREENSBORO, N.C. --- Senior Pablo Durana and freshman Tristram Thomas were named to the All-Atlantic Coast Conference Academic Men's Cross Country Team, league commissioner John Swofford announced Wednesday. To be eligible for consideration, Durana and Thomas had to earn a 3.00 grade point average for the fall semester and maintain a 3.00 cumulative average during his academic career. Durana had a 3.44 GPA during the fall semester, while Thomas had a 3.68.

In addition to being standouts in the classroom, Durana and Thomas were also the team leaders on the course. Durana was the team's top finisher in four of the six meets, while Thomas led the way in the other two. Durana just missed earned All-ACC honors with a 17th-place finish at the ACC meet. Thomas had a team-leading 40th-place finish at the NCAA Southeast Regional meet.
