2005 All-ACC Academic Men's Cross Country Team Announced

GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Six runners who earned All-Conference honors this past season secured spots on the 2005 All-Atlantic Coast Conference Academic Men's Cross Country Team as announced today by Commissioner John D. Swofford. Each of the league's 12 schools is represented on the team.

To be eligible for consideration, a student-athlete must have earned a 3.00 grade point average for the previous semester and maintained a 3.00 cumulative average during his academic career.

Runners earning All-Conference honors this past fall were Andrew Lemoncello, Tom Lancashire and Phil Nichols from Florida State and Andrew Dumm, Jan Foerster and Ryan Foster from Virginia.

In addition, NCAA All-Southeast Region honors were accorded to Dumm, Foerster, and Foster and Chris Kollar from NC State while Lemoncello, Lancashire and Nichols received NCAA All-South Region accolades. Lemoncello also received All-America accolades finishing 21st at the NCAA Championship.
