TERRE HAUTE, Ind. --- Led by freshman Brianna Felnagle's 45th-place finish, the University of North Carolina women's cross country team placed 22nd at the NCAA Championships Monday at Indiana State University. Stanford tallied 146 points to claim the team title, while Northern Arizona's Johanna Nilsson took the individual crown.

Felnagle, a freshman from Tacoma, Wash., finished the 6K course in 20 minutes, 38.6 seconds to pace the Tar Heels. Sophomore Megan Kaltenbach was 126th in 21:19.7, while Cassie King was close behind in 132nd in 21:22.9. Freshman Katelyn Kaltenbach was 184th in 21:54.7, and senior Carol Henry was 186th in 21:55.4 to round out the scoring. Freshmen Laura Cummings (210th/22:12.5) and Morgan Stengel (229th/22:38.9) also competed for UNC.
