BC Women's Cross Country Crowned New England Champions BOSTON, Mass. - Boston College's five scoring runners all finished in the top 12 overall as the women's cross country team won the New England Championship at Franklin Park on October 11. Senior Nichole Lister led BC as she finished in fourth with a time of 17:50. Senior Timothy Ritchie crossed the finish line at Franklin Park in 24:35, one second better than UMass Lowell's Ruben Sanca, to win the individual New England Championship on October 11. His performance helped the Boston College men's cross country team to a ninth place finish.
Top-13 Finishes for Cross Country at Disney Classic ORLANDO, Fla. - The University of Miami cross country teams ran to top-13 team finishes at the Walt Disney Cross Country Classic. The men led by senior Ryan Woodlee placed 11th, while Emma Steppe led the women to a 13th place finish. Woodlee (27:04) along with three other seniors ran the 8K course in under 28 minutes. Andrew Chuplis finished with a time of 27:15 with Tim Harris placing two spots behind him at 27.16. Vince Giambanco crossed the line at 27:19.
