GAINESVILLE, Fla. - The Florida State men's and women's cross country "B" teams ran in the NationsBank Invitational at the University of Florida today. The men placed seventh of 14 teams while the women were ninth of 18 teams.

Scoring for the men in the 8K event for the FSU men were Ryan Atkins (43rd - 28:24.07), Shawn Herron (49th - 28:51.17), Paul Leone (65th - 29:38), Charlie McCumber (70th - 30:12.05) and Jeremiah Hunt (78th - 30:38.51). The women's 5K top five consisted of Natalie Reid (28th - 19:49.97), Mary Gaskins (37th - 20:04.73), Amanda Hynes (84th - 21:41.61), Shannon Pearce (98th - 22:21.94) and Xuan Stevens (102nd - 22:31.70).

Florida State will host the annual Seminole Invitational next Saturday at Seminole Golf Course.
