Reid Takes 400m Title at Canadian Junior Track and Field Championships

ABBOTSFORD, British Columbia - Wake Forest rising sophomore Jonathon Reid took the 400m overall win with a mark of 46.95 at the Canadian Junior Track and Field Championships over the weekend.

Reid, a Windsor, Ontario native, also set a personal best with the winning time.

In his first season with WFU, Reid joined Michael Bingham, Phillip Warsaw and Eric Seely on the 4x400-meter relay team which advanced to the NCAA Finals. The group peaked at 3:07.42 in the NCAA Regionals, but fell short of advancing past the championship preliminaries.
