CORAL GABLES, Fla. - Junior Khadija Talley's 11th place finish in the shot put Sunday highlighted the weekend's action at the 2007 U.S. Outdoor Track and Field for three University of Miami student-athletes.

Competing at IUPUI's Michael A. Carroll Track and Soccer Stadium Talley hit a mark of 52 feet (15.85m) to finish 11th overall in the senior division.

During Saturday's 200-meter preliminaries heats, sophomore Krista Simkins placed 22nd overall and third in her respective heat with a time of 24.28 seconds.

Also competing over the weekend was freshman Christina Madry, who took part in the junior division long jump, but failed to record a mark.
