Clark, a Seminole junior from Virginia Beach, Va., opened his 2009 season at the Armory Track and Field Center in New York City with an automatic qualifying time in the 200m of 20.83 seconds. The time is only 33-one hundredths of a second off of Clark's league best time from last season. Ahoure, a senior for the Hurricanes from Bristow, Va., added provisional qualification in the 200m over the weekend to go along with her 60m automatic qualification. The Hurricane sprinter clocked in for first place at 23.26 in the 200m which is the fastest in the league in 2009 and second fastest in Miami history. The time won the event at the VT Elite Meet in Blacksburg. She also scored another automatic qualification in the 60m with a winning time of 7.21 seconds. Ahoure earns her second ACC weekly honor this season with the performance.
