GREENSBORO, N.C. - Georgia Tech's Jerome Miller has been chosen as the Atlantic Coast Conference Men's Indoor Track & Field Performer of the Week, while North Carolina's Vanneisha Ivy has been selected as the Atlantic Coast Conference Women's Performer of the Week.

Miller, a senior from Stafford, Va., notched a pair of NCAA qualifying marks last weekend in a meet in Fayetteville, Ark. Miller won the high jump with an NCAA Automatic Qualifying height of 2.25m, only 0.04m shy of the league record. Miller also posted a seventh place finish in the triple jump with a leap of 15.40m, good for NCAA Provisional Qualification.

Ivy, a junior from Muncie, Ind., earned NCAA Provisional Qualification over the weekend in the 60m hurdles with a time of 8.16 seconds. She also notched a runner-up finish in the 60m with a time of 7.54 seconds. Both times set new personal records for Ivy while the 60m hurdles time was the second fastest in Tar Heel history.

Georgia Tech will compete next at the VT Elite Challenge on Feb. 6-7 in Blacksburg. The Tar Heels will host the Texas Roadhouse Carolina Classic on Friday and Saturday in Chapel Hill.
