GREENSBORO, N.C. - Virginia's Yemi Ayeni has been chosen as the Atlantic Coast Conference Men's Indoor Track & Field Performer of the Week, while Miami's Murielle Ahoure and Florida State's Kim Williams have been selected as Co-Performers of the Week on the Women's side.

Ayeni, a senior from Kendall Park, N.J., won the Shot Put at the VT Challenge with a personal best distance of 61' 8.25." The NCAA Provisional Qualifying mark broke Ayeni's previous school record and ranks as the best throw in the nation this season. The Cavalier's throw would have placed at last year's NCAA Championships.

Ahoure is a senior from Bristow, Va., in her first season with Miami after transferring from George Mason. She broke Lauren Williams' 60m school record in her first meet with the Hurricanes. She took first place at the Kentucky Invitational in the 60m with a NCAA Automatic Qualifying time of 7.17 seconds.

Williams, a junior from Kingston, Jamaica, broke her own school record and set a new ACC record in the triple jump with a leap of 14.03m. The jump at the VT Challenge gave Williams automatic qualification to the NCAA Championships. She broke Gisele Oliveira's 2005 ACC record of 13.76m for Clemson.
