Virginia's Alex Tatu won the 1500m run at the JMU Invitational tonight, running a personal-best 3:46.15 and qualifying for the NCAA East Regional event in the process. Tatu's time was six seconds faster than his closest competitor and moved him up to the #7 spot all-time at Virginia.

Tatu will next compete at the NCAA East Regional meet in Randall's Island on May 27-28.
