AMES, Iowa - Junior Lance Leggett finished second in the finals of the 60-meter hurdles to highlight the second day of competition for the UM men's track and field team Saturday at the Iowa State Classic.

Leggett, who qualified for the finals with a fifth-place time of 7.98 in the semifinals, earned an NCAA provisional spot with a time of 7.89 in Saturday's finals.

Along with Leggett's performance, junior Tim Harris placed eighth overall in the 800 meters with a time of 1:50.10.
