Blacksburg, VA - Clemson's women's track & field team concluded competition at the Virginia Tech Invitational on Saturday afternoon from the Rector Field House indoor facility. Among the highlights for Clemson was the performance of the 4x400m relay team, comprised of Sierra Hill, Ope Sobanjo, Polly Hardy, and Tonya Nwankwo.

In the 200m, Sierra Hill was Clemson's lone representative with a time of 25.68. As mentioned earlier, the Lady Tiger 4x400m relay team performed well, finishing first in their section and sixth-fastest overall with a time of 3:55.83. The 4x800m relay team was fifth in 9:46.48. That team was made up of Thea Dix, Patrice McMillan, Caroline Rash, and Candice Johnson.

In the shot put, Della Clark and Allison Bradshaw finished second and third in the flight #3. Clark hit a mark of 13.15m/43'1.75", while Bradshaw tossed 12.99m/42'7.5".

The Lady Tigers return to action next weekend, January 20-21, as they play host to the Clemson Invitational on Friday and Saturday.
