With the number of opportunities to qualify for the NCAA Championships dwindling, conference track and field athletes tried to stamp their tickets this weekend. The majority of schools were at the Virginia Tech Elite Meet where Clemson's Patricia Mamona posted a NCAA automatic distance and personal-best leap of 45'0.5 in the triple jump. Duke's men's 4x800m relay won the event at the New Balance Collegiate Invitational.
