GREENSBORO, N.C. - Virginia Tech senior Logan Shinholser and Florida State senior Ariel Rittenhouse have been named the Atlantic Coast Conference Male and Female Divers of the Week, announced Tuesday by the conference office. Virginia Tech senior Heather Savage and Virginia freshman Courtney Bartholomew were named the Co-Female Swimmers of the Week, and Virginia Tech senior Zach McGinnis was recognized as the Male Swimmer of the Week.

Rittenhouse and the Florida State divers were the difference in an upset victory over No. 11 Florida. The Santa Cruz, Calif., native won both diving events with NCAA Zone qualifying scores. On the 3-meter, Rittenhouse finished just six points shy of the school record with a score of 359.93.
Savage won all four individual races this past weekend with NCAA B standard times to lead the Virginia Tech women to a first place finish. The Canandaigua, N.Y., native set a school record in the 200 fly and also swam on five victorious relays.
Bartholomew had two individual wins against No. 14 Indiana and Penn State, sweeping the backstroke races. The Holland, Mich., native tallied two NCAA B marks and notched the top times in the conference in both the 100 back (53.68) and the 200 back (1:55.33).
