Greensboro, NC- Kim Routh was just one of eight student-athletes that earned either All-America or All-America Honorable Mention honors and was still able to make the All-ACC Academic Women's Swimming and Diving Team. To be eligible, the student-athletes have to have earned a 3.0 GPA for the previous semester and maintained a 3.0 cumulative average during their career.

Clemson placed six members on the first ever All-Academic team. Routh was joined by senior Ashley Shafer, sophomore Jen Grove, and freshmen Cassy LaRussa, Michelle Parkhurst, and Rachel Regone. The six members were tied for the second most of any team in the ACC. Only Maryland, with seven, had more.
