2006 All-ACC Academic Men's Swimming Team Announced
July 7, 2006 GREENSBORO, N.C. -Five Clemson athletes were named to the inaugural All-ACC Academic Men's Swimming and Diving Team, as announced by Commissioner John D. Swofford. Clemson's five selections, included Joel Johnson, who earned All-ACC honors with a second-place finish in the 100 back at the ACC Championships. The four others Tigers that made the list were: Matt Balderston, Sean Geary, Thomas Niemeier, and Brian Regone To be eligible for consideration, a student-athlete must have earned a 3.00 grade point average for the previous semester and maintained a 3.00 cumulative average during his academic career.
