GREENSBORO, N.C. - Clemson senior Michelle Parkhurst and NC State senior Austin Hampton have been selected the Atlantic Coast Conference Swimming and Diving Performers of the Week. Hampton won both diving events against Georgia Tech last weekend while Parkhurst took a total of four event wins against Florida State.

Parkhurst, a Vienna, Va., native, took a trio of individual wins and a relay win on the weekend against the Seminoles. She won the 100 back (56.00), 200 back (1:59.67) and 200 free (1:49.58) with top-20 times in each event. Parkhurst also made an anchor leg surge over the final 50 to help Clemson win the 400 free relay in 3:24.72.

Hampton is a senior diver from St. Petersburg, Fla. He hit a pair of NCAA zone qualification scores last weekend in the 1-meter and 3-meter events for the Wolfpack. Hampton took first place on the 1-meter board with a score of 325.50. He also took first place in the 3-meter event with a school and pool record score of 393.60.

Clemson will host its home finale on Saturday at noon against NC State. The Wolfpack will host Campbell and East Carolina on Wednesday at 5 p.m. before heading south to face Clemson.
