Maryland and North Carolina met in the pool Friday night with the Tar Heels winning both meets. The men won 171-98 and the women prevailed, 166-117. Virginia Tech swept Kentucky to the tune of 161.5-136.5 on the men's side and 176-122 in the women's meet.

McCrory won dives in Duke's win over the Yellow Jackets, Moriarty posted wins in the 200 and 400-meter IM's at the Tar Heel Invitational.
