Greensboro, N.C. - Maryland's Ruth Kura garners this week's Atlantic Coast Conference Indoor Track and Field Performer of the Week honor, with an NCAA provisional qualifying mark. Kura, a senior from Potomac, Md., broke her own venue record on Saturday at the Terrapin Invitational at the Prince George's Sports and Learning Complex with a throw of 60'8". Not only was her throw good enough for first place, it was also an NCAA provisional qualifying mark. |
