Georgia Tech's Jordan and Virginia Tech's Harrison Earn ACC Indoor Track and Field Weekly Honors   2/9/10   Georgia Tech senior Alphonso Jordan and Virginia Tech senior Queen Harrison were selected for this week's Atlantic Coast Conference Men's and Women's Indoor Track and Field Performer of the Week honors for the period ending February 7. Jordan is the second Yellow Jacket in as many weeks to garner the award, while Harrison--who broke two of her own school records over the weekend--is taking her second weekly accolade in three weeks.
		Clemson's Henry Named ACC Women's Tennis Player of the Week   2/9/10   Clemson junior Laurianne Henry has been named the Atlantic Coast Conference Women's Tennis Player of the Week after winning a three-set marathon to clinch the 15th-ranked Tigers' 4-3 upset of No. 4 Georgia on the road last Saturday. The victory was just the Tigers' fourth in school history vs. a top-five ranked team on the road.
		Duke's Cunha Named ACC Men's Tennis Player of the Week   2/9/10   Duke freshman Henrique Cunha has been named the Atlantic Coast Conference Men's Tennis Player of the Week after a perfect week that included wins over two nationally-ranked opponents.
		Virginia Tech's Diaz Named ACC Wrestler of the Week   2/9/10   Virginia Tech 141-pound junior Chris Diaz has been named the Atlantic Coast Conference Wrestler of the Week after posting a wild, last-second win in a battle between nationally- ranked opponents during the 15th-ranked Hokies match at eighth-ranked Lehigh.
		North Carolina's Flannery and Pesacreta Tabbed ACC Swimming and Diving Performers of the Week   2/9/10   North Carolina sophomore Jim Flannery and freshman Marie Pesacreta were selected as Atlantic Coast Conference Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving Performers of the Week for the period ending February 7, announced today. Flannery won four individual events over the weekend, while Pesacreta clocked league top-10 times in four different events.
		Miami's Johnson and NC State's Kastanek Earn ACC Women's Basketball Weekly Honors   2/8/10   Miami sophomore guard Shenise Johnson and NC State freshman guard Marissa Kastanek earned this week's Atlantic Coast Conference Women's Basketball Player and Rookie of the Week honors for the period ending Feb. 7. Johnson registered one of her best collegiate games in an upset win over ninth-ranked North Carolina, while Kastanek proved to be crucial in the Wolfpack pulling off a much-needed ACC victory over Virginia Tech on Sunday.
		Maryland's Greivis Vasquez and Georgia Tech's Derrick Favors Earn ACC Basketball Honors   2/8/10   Maryland's Greivis Vasquez has been named ACC Player of the Week while Georgia Tech's has earned ACC Rookie of the Week recognition.
		Georgia Tech's McKay and Florida State's McShine Earn ACC Indoor Track and Field Weekly Honors   2/2/10   Georgia Tech junior Antonio McKay and Florida State senior Pilar McShine were picked as the Atlantic Coast Conference Men's and Women's Indoor Track and Field Performer of the Week, respectively, for the period ending January 31. Both McKay and McShine each posted victories and clocked a pair of top-five ACC times, as each competed at the unscored Rod McCravy Invitational in Lexington, Ky. (Jan. 29-30).
		Georgia Tech's Falconi Named ACC Women's Tennis Player of the Week   2/2/10   Georgia Tech's top-ranked Irina Falconi has been named the Atlantic Coast Conference Women's Tennis Player of the Week after leading the 10th-ranked Yellow Jackets past two fellow ranked teams in the opening rounds of the ITA National Team Indoor Championships.
