ACC Players of the Week

		Georgia Tech's Derek Dietrich and Miami's Eric Erickson Collect ACC Baseball Weekly Honors   5/5/08   Georgia Tech's Derek Dietrich and Miami's Eric Erickson have been selected the recipients for this week's Atlantic Coast Conference baseball honors. The league recognition is a career first for both student-athletes, as Dietrich was tabbed ACC Player of the Week while Erickson was named ACC Pitcher of the Week.
		Virginia Tech's Tincher and Boston College's Ypparila Earn ACC Softball Weekly Honors   5/5/08   Virginia Tech's Angela Tincher and Boston College's Gemma Ypparila have been chosen as the Atlantic Coast Conference Softball Pitcher and Player of the Week, respectively, for the period ending on Sunday, May 4. Tincher, the 2007 ACC Pitcher of the Year, has now been named Pitcher of the Week four times this season.
		Clemson's Kyle Parker and Miami's Chris Hernandez Collect ACC Baseball Weekly Honors   4/28/08   After helping their respective teams complete a series sweep in conference play over the weekend, Clemson's Kyle Parker was tabbed ACC Player of the Week while Miami's Chris Hernandez collected ACC Pitcher of the Week honors. The league recognition is a career first for both freshmen.
		North Carolina's Spaulding and Georgia Tech's Haller Earn ACC Softball Weekly Honors   4/28/08   North Carolina's Danielle Spaulding and Georgia Tech's Whitney Haller have been selected as the Atlantic Coast Conference Softball Pitcher and Player of the Week, respectively, for the period ending on Sunday, April 27.
		Miami's Yonder Alonso and Duke's Chris Manno Collect ACC Baseball Weekly Honors   4/21/08   Miami's Yonder Alonso and Duke's Chris Manno have been tabbed Atlantic Coast Conference Baseball Performers of the Week for their contributions on the field during the week of April 14-20.
		Georgia Tech's Humphreys, Haller Earn ACC Softball Weekly Honors   4/21/08   For the second week in a row, Georgia Tech's Whitney Humphreys has been selected as the Atlantic Coast Conference Softball Pitcher of the Week. Joining her this week as the league's softball Player of the Week is teammate Whitney Haller, who led the Tech offense to 31 runs in five contests last week.

		Duke's Ellah Nze Tabbed ACC Women's Tennis Player of the Week   4/15/08   Duke's Ellah Nze has been selected Atlantic Coast Conference Women's Tennis Player of the Week for her performance in the final week of the regular season. The freshman picked up her first career league honor and became the third Blue Devil to earn the award this season.
