    Kia McNeill, Women's Soccer, Boston College

    Cliff Hammonds, Men's Basketball, Clemson
    A candidate for CoSIDA Academic All-America honors...Named first-team Academic All-District this season by CoSIDA...A two-time Academic All-ACC honoree and two-time member of the ACC Academic Honor Roll...Is a member of Clemson's Blue Key society, which recognizes the top one percent of leaders on campus...One of only five players in ACC history with 1,300 points, 400 rebounds, 400 assists, and 200 steals in his career...Ranks in the top 10 in Clemson history in starts, minutes played, three-point goals, steals, assists, and assist-to-turnover ratio...Will be the first scholarship basketball player on record at Clemson to earn a degree in architecture in May…Named to the President's List (4.0 GPA) for the fall semester.
    Elizabeth Jobe, Women's Soccer, Clemson
    Named to the All-ACC Academic Women's Soccer Team in 2006 and 2007…Selected to the ACC Academic Honor Roll from 2004-06…Graduated in December 2007 with a degree in animal and veterinary sciences…Started all 71 games of her career, helping the Tigers advance to the NCAA Tournament in all four years, including a trip to the NCAA "Elite Eight" in 2006…Led a defense that allowed just 1.03 goals per game during her senior year.
    Meghan Steiner, Volleyball, Clemson
    Graduated a semester early in January of 2008 with a degree in biological sciences…Has remained on campus in 2008 to study cancer research…Plans to attend medical school and then pursue a career in oncology…Named to the 2007 All-ACC Academic Team, and the 2007 ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District third-team…Selected to the ACC Academic Honor Roll in each of the last three years…Led Clemson to 81 wins in four years, including the 2007 league title and the school's first NCAA Tournament berth since 1999…Ranks among the school's top 10 in career hitting percentage, blocks average and block assists.
    Patrick Bailey, Football, Duke
    A three-time Academic All-ACC Football Team selection from 2005-2007…Named to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District team in 2006 and 2007…Currently majoring in electrical and computer engineering…Led the Blue Devil defense on the gridiron with 4.5 sacks in 2007, and recorded seven tackles for loss in six games played…Registered 37 total tackles in his senior season, to go along with four quarterback hurries and one forced fumble.
    Alexis Hausfeld, Volleyball, Duke

    Anthony McDevitt, Men's Lacrosse, Duke
    Graduated from Duke on May 13, 2007…Majored in history with a minor in economics, and is currently pursuing an MBA in Duke's Fuqua School of Business…A top 10 candidate for the 2007 Lowe's Senior Class Award, given annually to the NCAA Division I lacrosse player who best excels both on and off the field…An All-ACC Academic team honoree and Academic Honor Roll selection, and a member of the 2007 USILA Scholar All-America team…A two-time All-American and 2008 preseason All-America selection…Named a candidate for the 2008 Williams F.     Kandia Batchelor, Track & Field, Florida State

    David Herren, Men's Track & Field - Cross Country, Georgia Tech

    Kristi Miller, Women's Tennis, Georgia Tech
    One of the most decorated female student-athletes in Georgia Tech history…Plans to graduate in May 2008 with a degree in history, technology and society…Plans to attend law school…Is the Yellow Jackets' career record-holder in both singles and doubles victories and was the recipient of the prestigious Honda Award in 2006…A five-time All-American that led her 2007 team to the NCAA, ITA National Indoor and ACC titles…Took part in a legislative internship at the Georgia state capitol.
    Taylor Narewski, Men's Track & Field, Georgia Tech
    A four-time ACC Academic Honor Roll honoree for achieving a 3.0 GPA or better for each of his academic years at Georgia Tech… Received his bachelor's degree in public policy in May 2007 and began working on his master's degree in public policy this past summer... Currently serving as the vice-chair of the Honor Advisory Council and was an ACC rep on the Student-Athletic Advisory Board… Named the ACC Top Six in Service in 2007…Was awarded the President's Undergraduate Research Award in 2006.
    Oluwatoni Aluko, Women's Track & Field, Maryland
    Currently majoring in kinesiology at Maryland…Has received academic honors four times, and has been named to the Maryland Scholar-Athlete list seven times…Was named an ACC Scholar Athlete three times…Chosen for the U.S. Track and Field Division I All-Academic Team in 2007…Named to the 2007 All-ACC Academic Team…Belongs to the Phi Alpha Epsilon School of Public Health Honor Society.
    Beth Gillming, Volleyball, Maryland
    Was named to the ACC Honor Roll in each of her first three seasons…Chosen as a Maryland Scholar-Athlete seven times…The recipient of the prestigious Colonel Thomas M. Field Award, given to the student-athlete who best demonstrates leadership, scholarship and athletic excellence, for the 2006-07 school year… Set an ACC Tournament digs record in her freshman year en route to leading the Terps to the league title…Competed her senior season as Maryland's all-time leader in games played with 488 and ranked second all-time with 1,582 career digs.
    Gretchen Kittelberger, Gymnastics, Maryland
    Graduated in three years with a bachelor's degree in psychology…Received academic honors five times and was named a Maryland Scholar-Athlete seven times…Named the 2007 EAGLE Scholar Athlete of the Year…Was Selected as one of the National Association of Collegiate Gymnasts All-American Scholar-Athletes in both 2005 and 2006…Plans to pursue a postgraduate degree in psychology.
    Gina Marie Sabatino, Women's Tennis, Miami
    Has been a member of the Miami Book Buster honor roll three times, and a member of the AD honor roll twice since transferring from Boston University in 2006…Finished the 2006-07 season with a record of 30-13 overall... Became just the 10th player in school history to record at least 30 singles wins in a single season … Earned a record of 7-4 against ACC opponents in singles play in 2006-07, and a 24-15 overall record in doubles competition.
    Jonathan Stratton, Men's Basketball, Miami
    Inducted into Omicron Delta Kappa in fall 2007, an honor society for individuals who exhibit exemplary scholarship and leadership… A member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars and the University of Miami's Honors Program… Named to the Athletic Director's Honor Roll five times, Dean's List five times and the Provost's Honor Roll four times for academic excellence…Double majoring in economics and legal studies with a minor in English…Intends to pursue a law degree in graduate school…A Bowman Foster Ashe Scholarship Recipient (2004-08).
    Ariel Harris, Women's Soccer, North Carolina
    Four-year starter on defense for the Tar Heels…Played for the 2006 NCAA Championship team and three ACC Championship teams…The UNC defense allowed just 57 goals and achieved 42 shutouts in 100 matches over the course of her career…Majoring in biology…Participant in the Carolina Leadership Academy's Veteran Leaders Program…Named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll and the Dean's List…Served as the squad's Academic Team Captain, acting as a liaison between her team and the Academic Support Program.
    Tyra Johnson, Women's Track & Field, North Carolina

    Heather Kendell, Field Hockey, North Carolina

    Chris Kollar, Men's Cross Country, NC State
    Majoring in biological sciences…Chosen to the ACC Academic Honor Roll four times…Named an NC State Scholar Athlete in 2005-07…Selected as a 2005 Academic All-American in cross country…Named to 2007 All-ACC Academic team...A 2007 Academic All-American in cross country…Earned the 2007 ACC Men's Cross Country individual championship with an 8K time of 24:02.1.
    Luke Lathan, Football, NC State
    A December 2007 graduate of NC State…Majored in agricultural management with a concentration in biological sciences…Was named to the Dean's List for three semesters…Started all 12 games at center for the Wolfpack in 2007, participating in a team-high 872 snaps…Allowed just two sacks as a senior…Played in 28 career games, with 20 career starts.
    Mary Eddy, Rowing, Virginia
    A three-year veteran of the Cavalier rowing program entering the 2008 season…Was the coxswain for Virginia's Varsity Four boat that won the 2007 NCAA Championship and ACC Championships in both 2006 and 2007…Was named to the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association's National Scholar-Athlete team in 2007 and has been a member of the All-ACC Academic team in each of the past three years…Serves as a resident adviser on Grounds and is a research assistant in the Clinical Research Lab at the UVa Medical Center.
    Sarah Kirkwood, Volleyball, Virginia
    A finalist for a Rhodes Scholarship…Became the first All-American to be named multiple times in the history of the Virginia volleyball program in 2007 when she received honorable-mention honors…Collected first-team All-ACC honors and was named to the AVCA All-East region team in 2007… A three-time Academic All-American, earning first team honors as a junior and selected for the second team following her senior and sophomore campaigns…Is one of only four student athletes to have been named to the All-ACC Academic Volleyball team in 2005, 2006 and 2007…Had the honor of being one of the UVa undergraduate students selected to live on The Lawn as a senior.
    Rebecca Sauerbrunn, Women's Soccer, Virginia
    Was named the 2007 NSCAA Women's Scholar Athlete of the Year in January of 2008…Was a member of the All-ACC Academic team in 2006…Named an NSCAA first-team All-American, and the ACC Defensive Player of the Year in 2007…Anchored a Virginia defense that led the nation in goals against average (0.40) and set a school record with 15 shutouts a year ago...Is the only three-time NSCAA All-American in Virginia history and one of only two Cavaliers to be twice named a first team All-American…Currently a member of the U.S. National Team…Has been active in Special Olympics, the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals and local activities supporting Multiple Sclerosis fundraising.
    Jennifer Albrecht, Volleyball, Virginia Tech
    Garnered ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District III University First-Team honors three-straight years … Will graduate with a dual major in biochemistry and human nutrition, foods and exercise, and a dual minor in Spanish and chemistry … Named to the St. John's Volleyball Invitational All-Tournament Team this season … Selected to VaSID All-State Academic Team in 2006 … Member of the ACC's Academic Honor Roll and the 2007 All-ACC Academic Volleyball Team.
    Jessica Botzum, Women's Swimming, Virginia Tech
    Became the first Virginia Tech swimmer to earn All-American honors (200 breaststroke)…Named the ACC Freshman of the Year in 2005…Chosen as the ACC Swimmer of the Year as a junior in 2007 and earned All-American honors in the 100 and 200 breaststroke…Received Academic All-America and All-ACC Academic Team honors…Named to the Virginia Tech Dean's List and ACC Honor Roll.
    Mary Elizabeth Newton, Women's Soccer, Virginia Tech
    Has been a part of Virginia Tech's first two winning seasons in program history, including the team's first-ever trip to the NCAA Tournament in 2004…Is tied for third all-time at Tech with 75 game appearances, and has anchored a defense that allowed a program-record low 20 goals in 2007…Was named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll in each of the last three years, and has also made the Dean's List at Tech.
    Caitlin Chrisman, Women's Track & Field, Wake Forest
    One of Wake Forest's top performers in both cross country and track during her career…Finished seventh in the 10,000 meters and 14th in the 5,000 meters at the 2007 ACC Championship Track Meet…A member of Omicron Delta Kappa…Has made the ACC Academic Honor Roll for three years and made the Dean's List five times…A member of the All-ACC Academic Track and Field team in 2006 and was named to the 2006 USTFCCCA Women's All-Academic Track and Field Team.

    Crystal Langhorne, Women's Basketball, Maryland

    Michael Thomas Santi, Jr., Football, Virginia
