This Week In ACC Soccer: Oct. 15

The ACC  is heading into the final stretch, as teams throughout the conference are battling it out for positioning, both in the conference and nationally.

On the Men’s side, Wake Forest takes over at the No. 1 position in the RPI, with four other teams cracking the Top 10.  North Carolina comes in at No. 2, Notre Dame at No. 4, Clemson at No. 5, and Boston College at No. 9.  Syracuse, NC State, and Virginia all cracked the Top 25 this week as well.

On the Women’s side, North Carolina fell from their No. 1 ranking and now the Florida State Seminoles have taken that spot.  Virginia follows right behind them at No. 2, while Clemson checks in at No. 6, North Carolina at No. 7, Virginia Tech at No. 12, and Notre Dame at No. 14.

There are quite a few high profile games though this coming week for both the men’s and women’s teams, as we preview this week’s matchups below.
