Charlotte, N.C.: The ACC Digital Network (@theACCDN) announced today, the return of its “Guest Reporter Search” for basketball. The ACCDN is actively searching for college students and alumni interested in a chance to join its coverage team on site, with an all-expense paid trip, to the ACC Tournament Semifinals and Championship Game in Washington, D.C., on Friday, March 11 and Saturday, March 12.
The ACCDN is looking for reporters and social media gurus of all ages that have a passion for college sports, and most importantly, their favorite ACC team. While a journalism or communications degree is preferred, experience is not necessary to win.
In addition to the grand prize for the winning Guest Reporter, theACC.com now features a ‘Student Section’ showcasing content from the campaign, as well as content submitted from other ACC students providing a platform for asipiring journalists. The Student Section will be a great place for ACC fans to get a unique perspective of storylines throughout the conference.
Fans are encouraged to follow the ACC Digital Network Guest Reporter Campaign through contestant’s activity which will be featured on the ACC Facebook page and through @theACCDN Twitter and Instagram accounts. Winners of the campaign will be selected based on personality, creativity and their ability to promote their favorite ACC Sports team using social media and any ACCDN content related to their school.
