TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- The No. 20/23 Florida State softball team fanned Florida A&M, 9-2, Wednesday night on the Rattlers' campus.
The Seminoles (5-1) produced enough runs to win the game but it was the nearly-perfect pitching of Sarah Hamilton, Terese Gober and Morgan Bullock that set the tone.
By game's end, the trio of Seminole hurlers struck out an incredible 15 of the 24 batters faced.
Hamilton got the win as the Tallahassee native faced six batters and managed to strike out five of them in just two innings of work. The only batter she didn't send back to the home dugout on strikes popped out to Tory Haddad at first base.
