Ten ACC Student-Athletes Named NSCAA/Performance Subaru Women's Soccer Division I All-America

Greensboro, N.C. - Ten Atlantic Coast Conference student-athletes have been named to the 2010 NSCAA/Performance Subaru Women’s NCAA Division I Women’s Soccer All-America Team, including three repeat selections in senior midfielder Sinead Farrelly of Virginia, senior midfielder Amanda DaCosta of Florida State and sophomore forward Victoria DiMartino of Boston College.

Farrelly, the ACC Offensive Player of the Year, was joined on the first team by freshman defender Crystal Dunn of North Carolina, the ACC Defensive Player of the Year. Boston College midfielder Kristen Mewis, who will lead the Eagles against top-ranked Stanford in tonight’s NCAA Women’s College Cup semifinal match, was also a first-team selection.

ACC Freshman of the Year Katie Stengel of Wake Forest highlights the second team, along with North Carolina senior midfielder Meghan Klingenberg.

Florida State’s DaCosta was named to the third team, while the fourth team includes junior goalkeeper Chantel Jones of Virginia, Boston College’s DiMartino, Florida State junior defender Toni Pressley and Maryland junior forward Jasmyne Spencer.
