Three ACC matches will be televised this week. Action on Thursday, Oct. 4 will feature a Regional Sports Network broadcast of Boston College at North Carolina. Maryland at NC State can also be seen on RSNs on Sunday, Oct. 7, while Virginia and Wake Forest will square-off live on the ACC Digital Network on YouTube on Friday, Oct. 5 at 7 p.m. The Digital Network debuted its live YouTube broadcasts on Sept. 21 when Maryland hosted Virginia Tech in men's soccer. 
The ACC continues to dominate the national rankings as eight teams are ranked in the NSCAA and in the Soccer America Top-25 polls this week. Florida State is the consensus No. 1 team in the nation for the fourth consecutive week. It is also the sixth straight week the Seminoles have owned the top spot in the NSCAA poll. FSU is 14-1-0 all-time as the nation's top team.  Duke and Virginia follow at No. 7 and 9, respectively in the NSCAA poll, while Maryland, Boston College, North Carolina and Virginia Tech hold the Nos. 12-15 slots. Wake Forest rounds out the group at No. 17.
Eight teams rank in the Top-25 of the second NCAA RPI released on Oct. 1; Florida State (5), North Carolina (6), Boston College (10), Wake Forest (12), Duke (13), Virginia (17), Virginia Tech (22), Maryland (25). The RPI, a quantity used to rank sports teams based upon a team's wins and losses and its strength of schedule, is part of the criteria used in making at large selections, seeding and placing teams in the NCAA Championship bracket.
ACC teams own an impressive 63-14-8 record over nonconference competition.
Wake Forest head coach Tony da Luz earned his 200th career win at Wake Forest on Sept. 30 with a 4-0 victory over Clemson. Da Lutz stands 245-152-32 overall in 21 years as a head coach.
Demon Deacon junior forward Katie Stengel owns Wake Forest's all-time scoring record with 38 goals and 15 assists for 91 career points. Boston College's Kristen Mewis also broke her school's all-time scoring record earlier this season. Mewis owns 96 career points on 32 goals and 32 assists at Boston College.
The ACC boasts four 20-plus point scorers, led by Duke's Laura Weinberg, who owns 26 points (11g, 4a), which is tops in the league and fourth in the nation. Boston College's Kristen Mewis follows with 24 points (9g, 6a), a mark that stands 14th in Division I.
At 11-0-0, Florida State stands as the only unbeaten and untied team in the nation. The Seminoles are off to their best start in school history and set a program record 11-game win streak.
Florida State also owns the nation's top shutout percentage (0.818), goals against average (0.273) and the saves percentage (0.923). Florida State has not allowed a goal in 618 minutes - the second longest shutout streak in school history.
Virginia Tech will look for its first undefeated regular season non-conference finish when it hosts Oklahoma on Sunday, Oct. 7.
