Boston College Rolls Past Marist, 6-1

NEWTON, Mass. - The Boston College women's soccer team had five different scores as the Eagles defeated Marist, 6-1, in the first round of the NCAA Tournament in front of 697 fans at the Newton Soccer Field on Sunday afternoon.

The No. 20 Eagles advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament to play California on Friday, November 18 at Laird Q. Cagan Stadium on the campus of Stanford University. The winner of the BC/California match will play the winner of Stanford/South Carolina on Sunday, November 20 at the same venue.

Kerr, Blue Devils Advance in NCAA First Round

DURHAM, N.C. - Duke sophomore Kaitlyn Kerr registered two goals in the first 33 minutes of action to pace the top-seeded and third-ranked Blue Devil women's soccer team to a 5-0 victory over Radford in the NCAA Tournament first round at Koskinen Stadium on Sunday afternoon in Durham, N.C.

With the victory, Duke posted a school-record 18th win on the season to improve to 18-3-1 overall under Head Coach Robbie Church. The Blue Devils will next host the NCAA Tournament second round on Friday, Nov. 18 with UW Milwaukee vs. Ohio State at 5:00 p.m., followed by Georgia at Duke at 7:30 p.m.
