No. 1 Terps Topple UMass, 14-4
Nine different players accounted for 14 Terrapin goals Saturday as No. 1 Maryland downed A-10 champion UMass, 14-4, at Ludwig Field.

The Terps (17-1) were led in scoring by two goals each from Sarah Mollison, Karri Ellen Johnson, Laura Merrifield, Kate Faas and Alex Aust. Mollison added a pair of assists for a game-high four points.

Maryland, which erupted for seven unanswered goals to start the match, began the first period with goals coming via the Jones sisters as Brandi netted the game's first score at 25:56 and Brittany utilized a Mollison assist at 19:41 for a 2-0 Terp lead. Merrifield tacked on a free position score with 15 minutes remaining in the half before unassisted goals by Johnson, Mollison, Caitlyn McFadden and Faas extended Maryland's lead to 7-0.

No. 17 Boston College Defeats Le Moyne, 17-6
The Boston College lacrosse team topped Le Moyne 17-6 on the Eagles' senior day on Saturday afternoon in Newton, Mass.

The Eagles improved to 12-5 on the season while Le Moyne fell to 9-6.

Boston College took a moment to honor the team's five seniors prior to the start of the contest. Suzanne Cannon, Blair Clancy, Lauren Costello, Peyton Killeen and Mary Stinson were recognized for their dedication and success during their time with the Eagles.
