CHAPEL HILL - Megan Bosica scored four goals and Jenn Russell and Kristen Taylor had three apiece as the University of North Carolina women's lacrosse team defeated the University of Florida, 18-5, on Sunday afternoon at sunny, breezy Fetzer Field.
Freshman Emily Garrity added two goals and an assist and Corey Donohoe scored twice as Carolina, ranked No. 4 in the IWLCA and Inside Lacrosse coaches polls, improved to 5-0 this season. Unranked Florida fell to 2-1.
In addition to the output of Bosica, Russell, Taylor, Garrity and Donhoe, UNC also got a goal and an assist from Kristen Carr and single goals from Laura Zimmerman, Kara Cannizzaro and Sarah Kuonen. Becky Lynch added two assists for Carolina.
