ACC Players of the Week

GREENSBORO, N.C. (theACC.com) – Boston College junior forward Chapin Duke and North Carolina sophomore forward Charlotte Craddock have been named the Atlantic Coast Conference Field Hockey Co-Players of the Week, announced Tuesday by the conference office.

Duke scored the game-winning goal for the Eagles to give them their second ACC win as they defeated Wake Forest, 2-1, on Friday, Oct. 26. With the two teams knotted at one in the 68th minute, the Dedham, Mass., native put Virgynia Muma’s rebound past Wake Forest goalie Kaitlyn Ruhf for the winning tally. Duke leads Boston College with 14 points, seven goals, and three game winners this season.

Craddock scored four goals over the weekend to help lead top-ranked North Carolina to a pair of wins as they finished the regular season with an 18-1 record. On the road at No. 9 Old Dominion on Friday, the Wolverhampton, England, native scored the opening goal and then assisted on the game winner as the Tar Heels downed the Monarchs, 3-1. She scored her third hat trick of the season on Sunday in a 6-1 win over Radford.
