GREENSBORO, N.C. - North Carolina sophomore forward Charlotte Craddock has been named the Atlantic Coast Conference Field Hockey Player of the Week, announced Tuesday by the conference office.
Craddock scored three goals over the weekend as the top-ranked Tar Heels won a pair of games over ranked teams. She combined for three goals on 10 shots and had one game-winning tally.
Against No. 8 Old Dominion on Friday, the Wolverhampton, England, native scored North Carolina's third goal as the Tar Heels beat the Lady Monarchs, 3-2. The goal was the first of her career, coming in her first action in a Tar Heel uniform.
At No. 13 Wake Forest on Sunday in a nonconference matchup, she had both of the team's goals in a 2-1 victory.
