GREENSBORO, N.C. (theACC.com) - NC State senior forward Bonae Holston and Clemson freshman guard Kelly Gramlich earned 2011-12 Atlantic Coast Conference Women's Basketball Player and Rookie of the Week honors, respectively, for the week ending Sunday, Dec. 18.

Holston averaged 18.0 points, 8.5 rebounds and 2.5 steals in a 1-1 week for NC State. The Newport News, Va., native had 15 points and seven rebounds in a 66-59 victory over No. 20/18 Vanderbilt on Sunday. She sealed the win with a pair of free throws with 23 seconds left that gave the Wolfpack a five-point lead at the time. Holston also contributed a season-high 21 points and 10 rebounds for her third double-double of the season, and the 21st in her career, in a loss to Richmond on Thursday. She also had three steals against the Spiders.

Gramlich tied a school record with six made three-pointers, needing just eight attempts to knock them down. She scored a career-best 20 points overall in the contest, and needed just 25 minutes to notch her first career 20-point output. Clemson tied a school record with 11 made three-point goals in the game, and Gramlich was a main reason why. For the season, she is 16-40 (.400) from behind the arc, and is averaging 8.7 points and 3.3 rebounds per game, and has just nine turnovers in 215 minutes of play for the Lady Tigers.
