ESPN Selects Pair of ACC Teams for Big Monday Package

GREENSBORO, N.C. - ESPN has announced the 2011-12 Big Monday Presented by Bud Light women's college basketball schedule featuring the nation's top teams in action every Monday, at 7 p.m. or 9 p.m. ET. The ESPN2 series tips off on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Monday, Jan 16, at 7 p.m. ET with North Carolina at Connecticut.

All 14 teams on the Big Monday schedule appeared in the 2011 NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament, while only five conferences were selected to make up the 11-game schedule, including the ACC, BIG EAST, Big Ten, Big 12 and SEC programs.

The month of February features four straight weeks of doubleheaders, beginning on February 6 with North Carolina at Duke.

Entering its sixth season, all games in the Big Monday package will be broadcast on either ESPN or ESPN2, and each will be simulcast on ESPN3.
