Pairings Announced for the 33rd Annual ACC Women's Basketball Tournament

GREENSBORO, N.C. (theACC.com) - Duke clinched the No. 1 seed in the upcoming 2010 Atlantic Coast Conference Women's Basketball Tournament, which will begin Thursday, March 4, at the Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, N.C. The sixth-ranked Blue Devils look to collect their first ACC Tournament title since 2004.

The 33rd Annual ACC Women's Basketball Tournament is set to tip-off at approximately 11 a.m. ET on Thursday, March 4, and will conclude with a 1 p.m. championship contest on Sunday, March 7. The title game as well as the semifinals showings will be broadcast by Fox Sports Net (FSN) in high definition, while the 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. games on Thursday, March 4, and Friday, March 5, will be televised on the league's regional package (RSN).

The Blue Devils last won the league's tournament trophy in 2004, ending a five-year stretch that Duke held the tournament crown, the longest streak in ACC Tournament history. Those five years also marked the first five years of Greensboro hosting the tournament. The Blue Devils will find out their quarterfinals opponent after No. 8 seeded North Carolina takes on No. 9 seeded Maryland in the second game of the four-day event.
