Boston College

Boston College returns to action on Sunday when they host the Miami Hurricanes...Shayra Brown tallied a career-high 25 points against Virginia...Kristen Doherty tallied 17 points and a season-high nine boards against Florida State...Kerri Shields hit four 3-pointers in the loss to Georgia Tech, her fourth game this season with at least four from beyond the arc...Kristen Doherty tallied 17 points in the loss to NC State, her seventh double-digit scoring game... Doherty tied a career-high with 24 points in a 72-58 loss at Wake Forest...The Eagles dropped their ACC opener, coming up just short in a comeback attempt and falling 38-35 to Virginia Tech...Kerri Shields hit four 3-pointers and finished with 16 points to lead the Eagles to a 57-49 win over CCSU.

Clemson

Freshman Kelly Gramlich tallied her first double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds against Wake Forest...40 of Clemson’s 46 points were scored by freshmen in the loss to NC State...Clemson ended a 53-game losing streak against ranked teams, winning at No. 21 UNC 52-47...The Tigers fell to Virginia, 54-47, despite holding the Cavs to .286 shooting... Freshman guard Kelly Gramlich was named the ACC Rookie of the Week on Dec. 19...The Tigers hit 11 3-pointers to tie a school mark in a 68-48 victory over North Carolina Central...The 24 free throws made against Charleston Southern is the most made by a Clemson team since Nov. 21, 2003...Clemson held S.C. State to a .185 shooting percentage, the lowest by an opponent at Clemson in school history and third lowest overall.

Duke

Duke won its 34th straight game at home, beating No. 7 Maryland, 80-72...Duke’s win over Georgia Tech was the 34th straight in the series...The win over Virginia Tech was the 50th career victory for Coach McCallie in just 61 games, the second fastest in conference history to that mark...Led by Richa Jackon’s career-high 21 points, five players reached double figures as Duke defeated NC State 83-59... Duke picked up a 76-58 win at Wake Forest, led by Elizabeth Williams’ 18 points, 16 rebounds, and a conference-record 12 blocks...Chelsea Gray tallied the fourth triple-double in Duke history with 14 points, a school-record 13 assists, and 11 rebounds in a 92-43 win over Pittsburgh...Elizabeth Williams has been named the ACC Rookie of the Week six times this season.

Florida State

The Noles return to action on Friday when they travel to Raleigh to take on NC State...Alexa Deluzio led the Seminoles to a win a Boston College with a career-high, 28-point performance...Natasha Howard posted 22 points and a career-high 17 boards in the last-minute loss to No. 11 Miami...The Seminoles shot 51.9 percent from the field in the loss at Duke, the highest of any opponent against the Blue Devils this season...Florida State rode a 30-4 start to a 75-40 win at Virginia Tech...The Seminoles defeated Clemson for the seventh straight time, winning 59-47...Alexa Deluzio scored 23 points but the Seminoles fell to No. 5 Maryland...Florida State closed out the nonconference schedule with a 60-47 victory over UCF...The Seminoles blocked a school record 15 shots in an 86-41 win over Alabama A&M.

Georgia Tech

Sasha Goodlett tallied her sixth double-double of the year in the win over Virginia...Tyaunna Marshall scored 22 points and shot 85% from the field as Tech snapped a three-game losing streak to FSU... Goodlett scored 25 points in the loss to Duke, her sixth game this season with more than 20 points... Tyaunna Marshall had her second double-double of the season with 20 points and 12 rebounds in the win over Wake Forest...The Jackets came up just short at No. 5 Maryland, falling 77-74...Goodlett became just the 25th Jacket with 1,000 career points...Sophomore Dawnn Maye tallied 14 points and 10 assists in Tech’s win over Old Dominion, becoming the first Yellow Jacket to record a points/assist double-double since 2003...Tyaunna Marshall has scored in double figures in all but one game this season.

Maryland

Alyssa Thomas tied a career-high with 26 points in the loss at No. 5 Duke...Tianna Hawkins grabbed a Maryland-record 24 rebounds against Wake Forest, only two shy of the all-time ACC single-game mark... Maryland had 28 points off of the bench to help the Terps beat Virginia, 68-61....Maryland picked up a 78-72 overtime win over No. 23 UNC...Alyssa Thomas scored a three-point play with 17 seconds left and Maryland overcame a 20-point second-half deficit to defeat Georgia Tech 77-74...The Terps handed Florida State its worst home loss in nearly five years, winning 91-70 to open conference play...Eight Terrapins scored in double figures in the 108-33 win over Delaware State, the largest margin of victory in school history...Maryland has outrebounded its opponent in 18-of-20 games this season.

Miami

After using the same starting lineup for 52 consecutive games, Miami was forced to a new one in the win over Virginia Tech due to an injury...Shenise Johnson tallied her 32nd career double double in the win over Virginia... Yderstrom hit a 3-pointer with 17 seconds left to give Miami the win over Florida State, the first road win at Tallahassee for the Hurricanes since 1987...Shenise Johnson became just the fourth Hurricane to surpass 2,000 career points... Miami’s win over previously undefeated No. 5 Maryland, 75-63, was the first win over a top-five team in program history...Miami overcame a 16-point second-half deficit to beat previously undefeated No. 11 Rutgers, 92-81, in double overtime behind Riquna Williams’ career-high 36 points... The 81-point win over Prairie View A&M set a school record for margin of victory...The Hurricanes have won 35 straight home games, a program record.

North Carolina

The Tar Heels improved to 15-5 (5-2 ACC) with a 77-46 win over Boston College...UNC held NC State to a season-low 27.8 percent shooting for the Wolfpack... NC State

Marissa Kastanek tallied her fourth 20-point effort of the season and 11th of her career against UNC... Emili Tasler scored a career-high 16 points to lead NC State to a win over Clemson...Bonae Holston and Kody Burke combined for 43 points and 18 rebounds in the 75-66 win at Wake Forest...Marissa Kastanek scored her 1,000th career point in the win over Boston College...Freshman guard Krystal Barrett scored a team-high 14 points but the Wolfpack came up short, 78-68, at Miami...NC State went 3-0 in three straight days and took home the Pepsi Rainbow Wahine Invitational title in Honolulu, Hawaii... Bonae Holston scored the game winner and tallied 20 points and nine rebounds in a 55-53 win over South Carolina...Holston is second among active ACC players with 24 career double-doubles.

Virginia

Virginia's Ariana MoorerAriana Moorer scored a team-high 14 points in the loss at Georgia Tech...Virginia had a shot to tie the game at No. 11 Miami, but came up just short, losing 56-53...Four Cavalier scorers reached double figures in the loss to No. 8 Maryland...Ariana Moorer tallied her 1000th career point to help the Cavs defeat rival Virginia Tech...Simone Egwu tallied her second double double of the season as the Cavaliers won, 54-47, at Clemson...Sophomore Ataira Franklin scored a career-high 29 points but the Cavs fell to North Carolina, 78-73, in double overtime...The Cavaliers tied a school record with 26 steals in a 84-41 win over Wagner...Chelsea Shine recorded her 500th career rebound in the win over Liberty...The win over Tennessee was the first for the Cavaliers over a top-three opponent since 2000.

Virginia Tech

Monet Tellier and Aerial Wilson combined for 33 points in the loss at No. 10 Miami...The Hokies held Duke to 42% shooting, the fourth lowest mark for the Blue Devils this season....Alyssa Fenyn knocked down a late three pointer to give the Hokies a 38- 35 win over Boston College...Virginia Tech defeated Clemson on the road, 55-33, in the ACC debut for coach Dennis Wolff...The Hokies closed out the nonconference schedule with a 57-52 win over UMBC, led by Monet Tellier’s 18 points...The Hokies rode a 21-2 run late in the first half to a 70-52 win over NC Central...Monet Tellier scored a career-high 31 points in the loss to William & Mary...Tellier opened the season with 20 points in the first half of the first game against Old Dominion, and finished with 29 total.

Wake Forest

The Deacs connected on a season-high nine 3-pointers in a 94-65 win over Clemson...Wake Forest held a 30-7 margin in bench scoring but fell, 75-66, to NC State...Wake improved to 11-4 and 1-1 with a 72-58 win over Boston College...Junior center Sandra Garcia had 22 points to lead Wake Forest to a 68-66 win over Davidson...Mykala Walker notched new career-highs with 16 points and 11 rebounds to lead Wake to a 65-53 win over SMU...Wake Forest picked up a 90-67 win over Radford, led by Lindsy Wright’s career-high 18 points...Wake Forest opened on a 20-0 run and defeated Minnesota 82-65, marking the 110th win for head coach Mike Peterson, making him the winningest coach in school history.
