Boston College

Kerri Shields hit four 3-pointers in the loss to Georgia Tech, her fourth game this season with at least four from beyond the arc...Kristen Doherty tallied 17 points in the loss to NC State, her seventh double digit scoring game...Doherty tied a career-high with 24 points in a 72-58 loss at Wake Forest...The Eagles dropped their ACC opener, coming up just short in a comeback attempt and falling 38-35 to Virginia Tech...Kerri Shields hit four 3-pointers and finished with 16 points to lead the Eagles to a 57-49 win over CCSU...Katie Zenevitch and Tiffany Ruffin scored 17 points apiece to lead the Eagles to a 67-58 win over Holy Cross...Tiffany Ruffin and Shayra Brown each scored 18 points to lead the Eagles to an 80-64 win over UMass.

Clemson

Clemson ended a 53-game losing streak against ranked teams, winning at No. 21 UNC 52 47...The Tigers fell to Virginia, 54-47, despite holding the Cavs to .286 shooting...Four Clemson post players finished in double figures, but the Tigers fell to Florida State 59-47..Freshman guard Kelly Gramlich was named the ACC Rookie of the Week on Dec. 19... The Tigers hit 11 3 pointers to tie a school mark in a 68-48 victory over North Carolina Central...The 24 free throws made against Charleston Southern is the most made by a Clemson team since Nov. 21, 2003...Clemson held S.C. State to a .185 shooting percentage, the lowest by an opponent at Clemson in school history and third lowest overall.

Duke

Duke won its 34th straight over Georgia Tech on Wednesday...The win over Virginia Tech was the 50th career victory for Coach McCallie in just 61 games, the second fastest in conference history to that mark...Duke’s win over Florida State was the 33rd straight victory at Cameron Indoor Stadium for the Blue Devils...Led by Richa Jackon’s career-high 21 points, five players reached double figures as Duke defeated NC State 83-59...Duke picked up a 76-58 win at Wake Forest, led by Elizabeth Williams’ 18 points, 16 rebounds, and a conference-record 12 blocks...Chelsea Gray tallied the fourth triple-double in Duke history with 14 points, a school-record 13 assists, and 11 rebounds in a 92-43 win over Pittsburgh... Elizabeth Williams has been named the ACC Rookie of the Week five times this season.

Florida State's Natasha HowardFlorida State

Natasha Howard posted 22 points and a career-high 17 boards in the last-minute loss to No. 11 Miami...The Seminoles shot 51.9 percent from the field in the loss at Duke, the highest of any opponent against the Blue Devils this season...Florida State rode a 30-4 start to a 75-40 win at Virginia Tech...The Seminoles defeated Clemson for the seventh straight time, winning 59-47...Alexa Deluzio tied a career-high with 23 points but the Seminoles fell to No. 5 Maryland...Florida State closed out the nonconference schedule with a 60-47 victory over UCF... The Seminoles blocked a school-record 15 shots in an 86-41 win over Alabama A&M.

Georgia Tech

Sasha Goodlett scored a game-high 25 points and shot 90% from the field in the loss to Duke... Goodlett tallied new career-highs with 26 points and 16 rebounds in the win over Boston College..Tyaunna Marshall had her second double-double of the season with 20 points and 12 rebounds in the win over Wake Forest...Sasha Goodlett finished with 20 points and 10 rebounds but Tech fell to No. 13 Miami 77-65...The Jackets came up just short at No. 5 Maryland, falling 77-74...Goodlett became just the 25th Jacket with 1,000 career points...Sophomore Dawnn Maye tallied 14 points and 10 assists in Tech’s win over Old Dominion, becoming the first Yellow Jacket to record a points/assist double-double since 2003...Tyaunna Marshall has scored in double figures in all but one game this season.

Maryland

Maryland had 28 points off of the bench to help the Terps beat Virginia, 68-61...The Terps fell from the ranks of the unbeatens, losing at No. 11 Miami.... Maryland improved to 16-0 with a 78-72 overtime win over No. 23 North Carolina...Alyssa Thomas scored a three-point play with 17 seconds left and Maryland overcame a 20-point second-half deficit to defeat Georgia Tech 77-74...The Terps handed Florida State its worst home loss in nearly five years, as Maryland won 91-70 to open conference play... Sophomore forward Alyssa Thomas was named the ACC Player of the Week on Jan. 2...Eight Terrapins scored in double figures in the 108-33 win over Delaware State, the largest margin of victory in school history...Maryland has outrebounded its opponent in all but one game this season.

Miami

Yderstrom hit a 3-pointer with 17 seconds left to give Miami the win over Florida State, the first road win at Tallahassee for the Hurricanes since 1987... Shenise Johnson became just the fourth Hurricane to surpass 2,000 career points...The Canes downed previously undefeated No. 5 Maryland, 75-63, behind Riquna Williams’ 34 points, the first win over a top-five team in program history...The lineup of Williams, Yderstrom, Stroman, Bullock, and Johnson has started 51 consecutive games...Miami overcame a 16-point second-half deficit to beat previously undefeated No. 11 Rutgers, 92-81, in double overtime behind Riquna Williams’ career-high 36 points...The 81-point win over Prairie View A&M set a school record for margin of victory...The Hurricanes have won 34 straight home games, a program record.

North Carolina

The Tar Heels fell to No. 5 Maryland, 78-72, in overtime on Sunday...Chay Shegog tallied 23 points and 11 rebounds as North Carolina defeated Virginia 78-73 in double overtime...North Carolina overcame an eight-point deficit with five minutes left to defeat No. 10 Miami...The Tar Heels set a new program record for fewest points allowed in a 74-21 win over Savannah State...Senior center Chay Shegog was named the ACC Co-Player of the Week on Dec. 26... Chay Shegog posted her fourth double-double of the season and 17th of her career with 26 points and 12 rebounds as the Tar Heels defeated East Tennessee State 93-77...Head coach Sylvia Hatchell ranks third in wins among active Division I coaches with 871.

NC State

Bonae Holston and Kody Burke combined for 43 points and 18 rebounds in the 75-66 win at Wake NC State's Bonae HolstonForest...Marissa Kastanek scored her 1,000th career point in the win over Boston College...Freshman guard Krystal Barrett scored a team-high 14 points but the Wolfpack came up short, 78-68, at Miami... NC State went 3-0 in three straight days and took home the Pepsi Rainbow Wahine Invitational title in Honolulu, Hawaii...NC State downed previously undefeated and 18th-ranked Vanderbilt behind Kody Burke’s career-high 21 points...NC State led the entire game to beat Alabama 79-57...Bonae Holston scored the game winner and tallied 20 points and nine rebounds in a 55-53 win over South Carolina... Bonae Holston is second among active ACC players with 23 career double-doubles.

Virginia

Four Cavalier scorers reached double figures in the loss to No. 8 Maryland...Ariana Moorer tallied her 1000th career point to help the Cavs defeat rival Virginia Tech...Simone Egwu tallied her second double-double of the season as the Cavaliers won, 54-47, at Clemson...Sophomore Ataira Franklin scored a career-high 29 points but the Cavs fell to North Carolina, 78-73, in double overtime...Franklin tallied her third career double-double with 19 points and 12 rebounds in the loss at No. 7 Duke...The Cavaliers tied a school record with 26 steals in a 84-41 win over Wagner...Chelsea Shine recorded her 500th career rebound in the win over Liberty... The win over Tennessee was the first for the Cavaliers over a top-three opponent since 2000.

Virginia Tech

The Hokies held Duke to 42% shooting, the fourth lowest mark for the Blue Devils this season....Alyssa Fenyn knocked down a late three pointer to give the Hokies a 38-35 win over Boston College...Virginia Tech defeated Clemson on the road, 55-33, in the ACC debut for coach Dennis Wolff...The Hokies closed out the nonconference schedule with a 57-52 win over UMBC, led by Monet Tellier’s 18 points...The Hokies rode a 21-2 run late in the first half to a 70-52 win over NC Central...Monet Tellier scored a career-high 31 points in the loss to William & Mary...Tellier opened the season with 20 points in the first half of the first game against Old Dominion, and finished with 29 total...Led by first-year head coach Dennis Wolff, Virginia Tech returns two starters and eight letter winners from last year’s 11-19 squad.

Wake Forest

Wake Forest held a 30-7 margin in bench scoring but fell, 75-66, to NC State...Wake improved to 11-4 and 1-1 with a 72-58 win over Boston College...Junior center Sandra Garcia had 22 points to lead Wake Forest to a 68-66 win over Davidson...Mykala Walker notched new career highs with 16 points and 11 rebounds to lead Wake to a 65-53 win over SMU... Wake Forest picked up a 90-67 win over Radford, led by Lindsy Wright’s career-high 18 points...Wake Forest opened on a 20-0 run and defeated Minnesota 82-65, marking the 110th win for head coach Mike Peterson, making him the winningest coach in school history...The Demon Deacons started the season with a six-game homestand, and had 13 of their first 15 games in Winston-Salem.
