Boston College's Kristen Doherty tied a career-high with 24 points in a 72-58 loss at Wake Forest...The Eagles dropped their ACC opener, coming up just short in a comeback attempt and falling 38-35 to Virginia Tech...Kerri Shields hit four 3-pointers and finished with 16 points to lead the Eagles to a 57-49 win over CCSU...Katie Zenevitch and Tiffany Ruffin scored 17 points apiece to lead the Eagles to a 67-58 win over Holy Cross...Kristen Doherty scored 13 points and added nine rebounds but the Eagles fell at Hartford, 54-45, on Saturday...Tiffany Ruffin and Shayra Brown each scored 18 points to lead the Eagles to an 80-64 win over UMass...Fourth-year head coach Sylvia Crawley returns two starters and seven letterwinners from last year's squad that finished with a record of 20-13.

Clemson fell to Virginia, 54-47, despite holding the Cavs to .286 shooting...Four Clemson post players finished in double figures, but the Tigers fell to Florida State 59-47...Freshman guard Kelly Gramlich was named the ACC Rookie of the Week on Dec. 19...The Tigers hit 11 3-pointers to tie a school mark in a 68-48 victory over North Carolina Central...Freshman Nikki Dixon has reached double figures in ten of 13 games this season to start her career...The 24 free throws made against Charleston Southern is the most made by a Clemson team since Nov. 21, 2003...Dixon was named the ACC Rookie of the Week for the first week of the season...Clemson held S.C. North Carolina fell to No. 5 Maryland, 78-72, in overtime on Sunday...Chay Shegog talled 23 points and 11 rebounds as North Carolina defeated Virginia 78-73 in double overtime...North Carolina overcame an eight-point deficit with five minutes left to defeat No. 10 Miami...The Tar Heels set a new program record for fewest points allowed in a 74-21 win over Savannah State...Senior center Chay Shegog was named the ACC Co-Player of the Week on Dec. 26...Chay Shegog posted her fourth double-double of the season and 17th of her career with 26 points and 12 rebounds as the Tar Heels defeated East Tennessee State 93-77...Head coach Sylvia Hatchell ranks third in wins among active Division I coaches with 871.

Virginia's Simone Egwu tallied her second double-double of the season as the Cavaliers won, 54-47, at Clemson... Sophomore Ataira Franklin scored a career-high 29 points but the Cavs fell to North Carolina, 78-73, in double overtime...Franklin tallied her third career double-double with 19 points and 12 rebounds in the loss at No. 7 Duke...The Cavaliers tied a school record with 26 steals in a 84-41 win over Wagner...The Cavs overcame a 12-point second-half deficit to defeat James Madison, 59-53...Five players scored in double-figures and Lexie Gerson tallied a career-high 19 points in a 92-43 win over Radford...Chelsea Shine recorded her 500th career rebound in the win over Liberty...The win over Tennessee was the first for the Cavaliers over a top-three opponent since 2000.

Virginia Tech's Alyssa Fenyn knocked down a late three pointer to give the Hokies a 38-35 win over Boston College... Virginia Tech defeated Clemson on the road, 55-33, in the ACC debut for coach Dennis Wolff...The Hokies closed out the nonconference schedule with a 57-52 win over UMBC, led by Monet Tellier's 18 points... Wake Forest improved to 11-4 and 1-1 with a 72-58 win over Boston College...Junior center Sandra Garcia had 22 points to lead Wake Forest to a 68-66 win over Davidson...Mykala Walker notched new career-highs with 16 points and 11 rebounds to lead Wake to a 65-53 win over SMU...Wake Forest picked up a 90-67 win over Radford, led by Lindsy Wright's career-high 18 points...Wake Forest opened on a 20-0 run and defeated Minnesota 82-65, marking the 110th win for head coach Mike Peterson, making him the winningest coach in school history...The Demon Deacons started the season with a six-game homestand, and have 13 of their first 15 games in Winston-Salem...Four starters and eleven letterwinners return from the team that finished 15-17 last season under head coach Mike Petersen.
