UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - The Virginia Tech women's basketball team struggled offensively, shooting just 23.5 percent from the field on Tuesday night as No. 17/18 Penn State picked up a 66-28 win at the Bryce Jordan Center in University Park, Pa.
"We played hard for 30 minutes and clearly hit a wall offensively with about 11 minutes to go in the game," said head coach Dennis Wolff. "We still commend their effort defensively, but we have to play more efficiently on offense to give us a chance in these games."
Leading the Hokies (2-6) was Aerial Wilson with 10 points. Larryqua Hall added five. Latorri Hines-Allen grabbed a game high and career-high 12 rebounds.
