Maryland Advances With 88-53 Win
Maryland thrived from downtown against Iona College hitting a season-high 13 baskets from beyond the arc. The Terrapins rallied behind sophomore Kim Rodgers who hit her stride in the second half and went 5-for-6 from the three-point line. The Terps now advance to the Women's National Invitational Tournament Second Round after defeating the Gaels, 88-53.

The next game for Maryland is on Sunday, March 21 against East Carolina with the time to be determined.

The win gave the team their 20th win of the season and head coach Brenda Frese her 10th career 20-plus win season and her sixth consecutive at Maryland. Frese is just four wins shy of her 200th as a Terrapin (196-72, .731)
