BLACKSBURG, VA - The Boston College sophomore Tessah Holt hit four free throws in the final minute to help the Eagles earn a 64-60 victory over Virginia Tech at Cassell Coliseum last night in Blacksburg, Virginia. The Eagles are now 6-19 and 1-11 in the ACC. Virginia Tech is now 7-18 and 3-9 in the conference.
Sophomore Katie Zenevitch led BC with 17 points while Kerri Shields added 15 points and Kristen Doherty finished with 13 points, three steals and a team-high seven rebounds.
BC shot 43 percent from the floor in the game and 47.6 percent from the three-point line.
