Muppidi Gives Men's Tennis 4-3 Win Over Coastal Carolina

The Boston College men's tennis team improved to 1-0 on its spring break trip with a 4-3 win over Coastal Carolina on Wednesday afternoon at the Billy Nichols Tennis Center in Conway, S.C.

The win improves Boston College to 5-6 on the year, while the loss drops Coastal Carolina to 7-2 for the season.

The Eagles took the doubles point as they won two of the three doubles matches. The No. 21 nationally ranked team of Thomas Nolan and Erik Kreutzer breezed by at number one doubles with an 8-3 win. The third doubles team of Akash Muppidi and Adam Davison took home the other doubles win for BC defeating Dmitry Vlaskin and Plamen Tzvetkov, 8-6.
